Clive Clive - Biography - Louis K. Meisel Gallery
Paris, 2002
Clive Head (b. 1965, Maidstone, Kent, England) is considered one of the most postmodern of the 21st century Photorealist painters. He does not rely as heavily on photography as other Photorealist painters, and incorporates a more unique vantage point in his paintings than is typical of the genre. Head received his B.A. from University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and his M.Phil. from University of Lancaster. He currently chairs the Department of Visual Art and is Senior Research Lecturer in Painting & Art History at University College Scarborough.
